Party Time, Malin is 3!

I know what you are all thinking...3 is not THAT old.. but It really is! I cannot believe my first baby girl is already 3! So many milestones she has already hit, and so many to come at this sweet age. She is quite the grown up little girl let me tell you! I have so enjoyed watching her become who she is right at this moment. Yes... these years have not always been easy and blissful. As anyone who has/had/or knows little kids, we all know it can be quite challenging, crazy and busy. But thinking the "big picture" its such an amazing and bittersweet thing to watch your child grow up.


Here is to you my sweet Malin! I hope your birthday was magical and perfect, and you felt truly celebrated and LOVED! It is simply not possible to sum you up in a paragraph let alone a few words. What I have to say about you will simply scratch the surface of your beautiful being and soul. We love you so dearly and are blessed to have you as our daughter. Truly excited for this next adventure filled year.

Happy Happy Birthday today to our nephew Henry Logan Branagh! I cant believe you are 1 today! I remember very fondly the day we found out we had another nephew! Henry we love you and are so happy to be able to celebrate your birthday today!!

6 Months and so much more..

Yes the title is true.. Josephine has hit the 6 month milestone,.but this post is so late now she just turned 7 months! I guess that just gives me more news to share...  Josephine is growing up so fast and trying to keep up with big sister Malin. It is so fun to see her unique personality and the differences and similarities between her and Malin. I love watching there connection as sisters and how they love to be around each other. I pray this will continue and they will always have a special friendship. As far as an update for Josephine...

Josephine at 6 Months:

~Rolls around like a a ball everywhere! You turn around and shes heading under a chair!!
~We've officially started solids other than rice cereal, and they are a hit! She loves most everything!
~Shes graduated to the highchair, and her jumpy seat and loves them both..
~Spitting up I think is on the decline.. Yeah!!
~Still think we have some teeth coming through, but as I learned with Malin it can be weeks and weeks before something pops up!


We have a lot going on right now but in a recap.. We bought a home and are awaiting our move into the new house! Temporarily we are staying at the Branagh Cabana (Nana and Papa's house) roommates once again! Heres a few pictures to hold you over!

4 Month Josephine

Miss Josephine is 4.5 months! Before we know it she will be eating solid  food and crawling around...


We've been enjoying watching her grow and learn and explore her new world around her. It has been REALLY fun to watch her and Malin interact most of all! Josephine loves watching Malin do anything and everything and loves to just be in the same room. Malin is a wonderful big sister. Always talking to her and telling her stories... its been so cute to watch how she plays and takes care of her sister!


Josephine has also been doing many new things.. an update below:

Rolling from stomach to back, and back to stomach
Increasing her wake time, and in turn dropping down to 2 naps a day (Much easier!)
Grabbing toys and holding them in her hands, and trying to eat them
Definitely more active, kicking around and splashing everywhere in the bath tub
Easy going and RELAXED :)
oh one of the biggest and best things.. we dropped the swaddle! YAH

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree...

The Christmas season came with a bang around the Stone house. It was filled with excitement, wonder and joy. This was a different and special year. As we celebrated we felt Gods peace and comfort and also were able to admire with great wonder all he has done for us, and did on that first Christmas. What fun it was to see the season through the eyes of a 2.5 year all. She was mesmerized by all things Christmas! Everything had new excitement... the tree, the ornaments, the lights etc etc
We introduced Buddy the Elf this year who was a HUGE hit. Its January 10th and we are still talking about how much we miss him and want him to come back. Here are a few snapshots of the Christmas season, and I hope every ones was filled with the same wonder as ours!

Stone Girl Updates

I cant believe that Malin is already 2.5 years old and Josephine is 3 months. Although the time has flown by, we are not short on wonderful memories and funny stories. Malin keeps us on our toes as she says and does the funniest things lately, and has a VERY good memory. I think this will serve her well in school in the years to come!  I want this blog to be a place for me to keep pictures, stories and insight into these girls at each stage of their lives.

Loved Santa this year  (big improvement from last year)
Loves her sister Josephine, and keeps her wildly entertained!

Finicky with eating certain things that she used to love (Must get better at disguising!)
Likes to have "Pivey" aka privacy in the bathroom
Asked Santa for Trail mix for Christmas, and is so sad her elf Buddy went back to the North Pole
