March Madness

I suppose after several comments, inquiring if my blog had changed addresses or was deleted it became very clear that I am no expert blogger! I really have good "blogging intentions"... I promise.

Anyways, March was filled with madness: Family and Basketball! We had a great visit from Garrett's brother and sister, a lot of Basketball madness and a wonderful St. Patrick's Day party to celebrate our Irish roots!
We really enjoyed having Monica and Brannon in town. We had some good food, fun outings, and spent the majority of our time watching the best entertainment we have to offer: Malin!

Malin and her Buncle, and I think its fair to say she has never been this high up before!

Malin hanging out with Auntie Monica!

St. Pat's Day was right around the corner and was a great party! Everyone had on there best GREEN attire and looked smashing! I have to say though, as it seems to go for most parties the babies took the cute award for the evening!

Oh, how can we forget to mention the biggest hit of all:

Milestone Monday

Ok, So apparently today is the day of many posts! I guess it makes up for the time lapse between the last few...

I have to write these down so they are documented and also so I can put them in Miss Malin's baby book. Ever since Malin hit 6 months she has been hitting new milestones a "mile" a minute! Lets begin with scooting around at 6 months, then all the sudden right around 7 months, boom! She is on the move crawling all over. Don't think for a second that her blinking, bright music filled toys could possibly be more exciting than outlets and wires! Also, as of yesterday Garrett and I have discovered a little white speck on her gums and feel the sharpness of a possible tooth arriving soon! I cannot believe it but things are happening and Malin is growing up! We are very much enjoying this stage as it quickly goes forward, whether we're ready or not!

Ciao!

Visitors

We enjoyed a wonderful visit two weekends ago from Garrett's parents and brother Brannon. It was a great for them to see Malin, how much she is growing and changing and spend some quality time together! It flew by as is expected when you're having fun and are always busy! We were of course entertained the whole weekend by many of Malin's "tricks", great meals, walks and a few basketball games! Many pictures were taken but I'll add a few of my favorites that sum up the great weekend! See you again Stone Family!!

Food Fight!

So... Malin hit her 6 month mark a few weeks back, and so began her venture into "adult food"! We began with rice cereal which actually went better than I had imagined! Although it seemed like most ended up outside of her mouth, the whole bowl was cleaned out at the end.

Malin enjoying her rice cereal

After a meal of peas!

We also have dipped our spoons into peas and pears as well. Some have gone better than others, but as to be expected I suppose!
You can see Malin is sitting like a queen in her new high chair! This New Year for Malin brings lots of fun, visitors and Mangos!

Holiday Mayhem..

I'll admit blogging is not as easy as I thought it would be. I mean this in the sense that it is hard to find time to actually be able to sit down write something interesting and also find good pictures to go along with my words. Kudos to all of you who update frequently, and whose blogs I read instead of doing my own! The holiday season has almost completely passed with New Years right around the corner. Thanksgiving and Christmas went off with a bang and actually rather smoothly as our first holidays with Malin.

Thanksgiving was spent this year at our cousins the Belligs. Here are a few Thanksgiving favorites!

Family Portrait

Little G and big G having a stare down!

Christmas this year was so much fun! Malin and cousin Grady went to see the Broadway Plaza Santa Claus, which I might add was rather impressive for a shopping center St. Nick! Malin also met some new members of the family for the first time ( cousin Marc!!) and really showed her true party girl spirit staying up way past her bed time on Christmas Eve and Night having too much fun with everyone! What can I say a girl after my own heart! Glad we know this ahead of time about Miss Malin! There were so many fun pictures from Christmas but I will choose the top favorites!

Two Elves in there Christmas Pajamas!

Malin on Christmas Morning! She was very excited about her new butterfly ball!

The Engbergs loving on Malin!

Finally time to go to bed, with a kiss from Gran Tata on her forehead! I'm sorry but she doesn't look too tired to me! We thought she would fall asleep as soon as we got in the car, but no Malin continued to laugh the whole ride home! Hope everyone had as wonderful a Christmas as we did! This new year will be very exciting, lots of visitors, birthdays and FIRSTS with Malin~
