HAWAII 5-0

I know my last post was from June, Malin's Birthday but I need to back track a month and then move forward. Trust me you don't want to miss these pictures of the two cutest beach babes you will ever see! In May the family headed to Hawaii to celebrate my Moms milestone birthday. 5 hour plane ride two. babies under the age of 2, 6 adults...we did well and arrived successfully! We went to the island of Kauai and it was beautiful. A week filled with sunshine, good memories, GREAT food and sand eating babies who thoroughly enjoyed every bit of this adventure! Pictures from this trip were many so Ill include a few favorites in this post. Until next time Hawaii... we can't wait to visit again!

Happy Birthday Malin!

Our sweet little girl is ONE today! This year has flown by us at a rapid pace! I cannot believe Malin is officially a toddler now! We have had such a fun time watching her grow, explore and learn this first year! We look forward to many more fun times and memories ahead! Thank you Malin for teaching us so much this year! We have truly enjoyed being your parents and love you so dearly! Hope this day is extra wonderful for you! We Love YOU!

Mother's Day Salute!

To all The wonderful Moms out there THANK YOU! We wanted to do a salute to two of our favorites!

Happiest of Mothers Days to YOU! Thank you for all you have done, and all you have been in our lives. We are so blessed with wonderful mothers and now grandmothers. I hope this day treats you well, and is filled with joy. We want you to know you are loved, and very much appreciated! Being parents now, we see the joy you have had the chance to experience! Reunited and it feels so good!

Yes! We were Reunited with besties, besties-to-be and family! We spent our Easter weekend up in Washington with friends and family. It was a great time to see everyone, and we truly experienced all Washington had to offer weather wise as well! Beautiful sunny days, pouring rain and a few grey clouds in between. Malin went on her second plane ride and did great, but its definitely a new experience now that her curiosity is growing and growing by the minute! Thank you T, C, P and H for hosting us and a great dinner party as well! Also, so great to see college friends, and a new house!! We look forward to our next trip to the Northwest, and hope we can bring some California sunshine for the whole weekend!

March Madness

I suppose after several comments, inquiring if my blog had changed addresses or was deleted it became very clear that I am no expert blogger! I really have good "blogging intentions"... I promise.

Anyways, March was filled with madness: Family and Basketball! We had a great visit from Garrett's brother and sister, a lot of Basketball madness and a wonderful St. Patrick's Day party to celebrate our Irish roots!
We really enjoyed having Monica and Brannon in town. We had some good food, fun outings, and spent the majority of our time watching the best entertainment we have to offer: Malin!

St. Pat's Day was right around the corner and was a great party! Everyone had on there best GREEN attire and looked smashing! I have to say though, as it seems to go for most parties the babies took the cute award for the evening!

Milestone Monday

Ok, So apparently today is the day of many posts! I guess it makes up for the time lapse between the last few...

I have to write these down so they are documented and also so I can put them in Miss Malin's baby book. Ever since Malin hit 6 months she has been hitting new milestones a "mile" a minute! Lets begin with scooting around at 6 months, then all the sudden right around 7 months, boom! She is on the move crawling all over. Don't think for a second that her blinking, bright music filled toys could possibly be more exciting than outlets and wires! Also, as of yesterday Garrett and I have discovered a little white speck on her gums and feel the sharpness of a possible tooth arriving soon! I cannot believe it but things are happening and Malin is growing up! We are very much enjoying this stage as it quickly goes forward, whether we're ready or not!
